Obotle Hoodmane

Here's this character I drew 2 years ago yesterday of a goofy drawing of a horse named Obotle Hoodmane. I'm wanting to remake some of my older drawings since how much I improved and used construction with my characters.

Here's some behind the sketches.

BONUS 💥

Lil' stubborn ol' me back in 2024 thought that "using shapes" to draw the characters was dumb. Here I am now in 2026 using them. 😆

Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz more or so just the 1939 version is one of the best movies that Old Hollywood has offered. High respects to Judy Garland, simply gorgeous and easily talented. So much ambition, yet very appreciated and passionate, and some of the best playful spirited characters. There's reasons why I love this film even if it can be a little too sappy at times.

The full cast! Scarecrow, Dorothy, Lion, Tin-Man and Toto! I'm very ignorant on the other Oz movies, but I always wanted to fully create my own stories of the Land of Oz, even if it's not accurate to the original books, but even then it's public domain and you can do whatever you want with it, but I hope you like my designs of these wonderful characters!

Gone With The Wind

I watched the longest movies in the Golden Age of Hollywood, Gone With The Wind. Such a great film, and as a reward, I wanted to draw Rhett Butler and Scarlett O'Hara. I'll be doing old hollywood movie drawings more often.

The Last of Twitchy

Here's almost the entire cast of a fanmade old movie type I created called The Last of Twitchy. It's sort of a western mixed with mystery. I both have an interest in these genres as westerns to me are really casual and formidable while mysteries really keep you captivated, wondering who committed the act.

Just bring back those good ol' toughness and cleverness in movies. Am I missing something? Maybe it's just the certain environment and feel to the film. I can't get into the modern movies yet and I don't know why.

There's something so extremely appealing about movies like Stagecoach, The Grapes Of Wrath, and Strangers on A Train.

Most of the cast is humans, I haven't named anyone yet but I would like some ideas. My favorite character I drawn here was that silly ol' crab. 😆

Twitchy is a black crow who was buried in a garden bed. And it's up the whole gang to search the resting place.

This alongside my other project, Rags To Riches is something I wanted to create ever since I was a fan of old movies and just anything film related in general. Somewhat adding gags, and sharp humor.
